The first voicebank produced by Yamaha. VY1 has no official avatar, and is part of a series designed to set a more professional standard by having no set gender, face, or voice. The voice itself is feminine, though it can be shaped and modified. Though VY1 has no official avatar, a design by the illustrator Rimiko has won a Vocaloid Festa (VocaFes) contest for her fan visualization.
